Before we propose anything, we take read-only access to your Search Console and Analytics and find out where you actually stand. Sometimes that conversation costs us the sale. We would rather lose it there than three months into work that was never going to help.
Then we freeze a baseline — every number recorded and dated before a single change. Without a "before", improvement is a story rather than a fact. It is also, not coincidentally, where a lot of agency reporting hides.
